What sparked your interest in entrepreneurship?

J: Our parents are both entrepreneurs. From a young age they instilled that mentality and taught us to work hard for a purpose. I began to study marketing in high school, read business books, and paid for my study abroad program by selling products that I loved online. The idea of supporting purpose-driven businesses and guiding conscious consumers throughout their journey will always excite me!

C: Our parents' hard working example has always been the spark. Even as a kid, from the lemonade stands in elementary, to selling DECA cookies in high school, and business courses in college, the entrepreneurial drive has always been there. There’s nothing like having the freedom and responsibility to bring a vision to life that gives value to others.

What is your long-term vision for Cada Consult?

J&C: To facilitate the world’s transition towards an existence that’s conscious of sustainable responsibility and holistic wellness. To help people find fulfillment through connection, education, and community. We would love to have a huge educational/consulting platform one day offering courses and programs on how to achieve this.

How would you define success?

J: Success is the feeling of wholeness and fulfillment in all the different aspects of your everyday life.

C: Success is waking up excited and easily falling asleep feeling accomplished.

What are you excited about most for 2022?

J&C: Our CADA COOKS BIZ online courses! We will be launching courses for both business owners and individuals interested in having and maintaining a work/life balance. You can sign up to our newsletter to stay tuned, you’re in for sweet surprises!

Do you have any advice for the next generation of women in business?

J: I read this somewhere and wrote it down:

We can be strong, and still be soft.

We can be independent, and still need support.

We can be direct, and still be kind.

We can be listeners, and still have a voice.

We can be understanding, and still have boundaries.

C: Don't let your fears or failures hold you back from what you would like to create in the world. If you’re overwhelmed, reevaluate your to-do list and ask for help. The hardships are guidance towards the solutions that await. Remain open to the lessons while being patient, consistent, and easy on yourself.
