The International Women’s Day Gala is an inclusive and multicultural celebration of women in business. As women, we have come a long way in the business industry, where we have a larger impact on the world. The Gala is our way of celebrating the importance of diversity, strength, bravery, intelligence, and the success of Females. At the same time, the Gala is dedicated to raising funds to assist small clinics in the towns of Kraja, Montenegro, Gjilan, and Kosovo to purchase necessary medical supplies. 

In the past two years, the circumstances of life have severely changed, and hardship has struck families in unimaginable ways. Many people have suffered a great loss because of a lack of medical funding and medical treatment. Facilities are running low on medical supplies, and as a result, the people are suffering the consequences. House of P0P Foundation is a New York-based nonprofit focused on promoting human dignity, social transformation, sustainability, physical and mental health, domestically and in the Balkans.

Our team consists of four passionate women from different backgrounds that have come together to bring attention to an important cause. Drita Popovic, who has a background in Mental Health, is the co-founder of the House of P0P Foundation. She also founded FIVE: Finding Individualized Value and Empowerment. Popovic has found her purpose in life in helping others. She tells us that giving creates a healthy life balance that provides emotionally and psychologically what money can never buy. Samantha Espinal, who at the age of 23 is an Alumni of the Fashion Institute of Technology, started her own Event Planning business this year. Simply Together Events, is an event planning and design business where she brings to life your event dreams. With already booming in the industry, this young lady has a bright future ahead as her focus, creativity, and determination are impeccable. Vjollca Latifi is a mother of two, a full-time employee, and a student working to show her children that nothing is impossible. You can go through war and still build a life that allows you to flourish as she makes it seem effortless. Annaniki Lama-Garavito is a Photographer/Videographer and Editor from Naples, Italy. She focuses on bringing raw and candid imagery to life and enjoys finding beauty in the small things in life. The four ladies are from different parts of the world, met in New York, and working together to create something unforgettable.

The International Women’s Day Charity Gala will be held on March 11, 2022, from 7 pm to 11 pm, at the W Loft in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The guests should look forward to an evening of entertainment, networking, and an overall good time.
