Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas
If you haven't belted your heart out to Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," have you celebrated the holiday season yet?! Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas is an hour-long singalong with the pop singer, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Kelsey Grammar, and more. Catch this musical special with your friends and family before it leaves Netflix's streaming library (on December 8th)!
This romantic comedy series is a must-watch, which chronicles the amusing identity-swapping hijinks in the fictional Kingdom of Belgravia at Christmastime. Vanessa Hudgens stars as the lead characters, Stacy DeNovo and Lady Margaret Delacourt in The Princess Switch and its sequels, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, and Romancing the Star. These are the perfect films to watch while waiting for your cookies to finish baking.
Yeimy Montoya is a young woman with a passion for writing Reggaeton music. But when Montoya witnesses her crush, Charly Cruz, rob a clinic and shoot a guard, she gets caught up in a mess of deceit. Cruz and his friends falsely incriminate Montoya, wrongly landing her a prison sentence of seventeen years. After striking a deal with the Drug Enforcement Administration to work as an undercover agent, Montoya gets a reduced sentence… and an opportunity for revenge. For lovers of Reggaeton and Telenovelas, The Queen of Flow is a show you won’t want to miss.

H3R’s Watchlist: Camille Griffin
H3R’s Watchlist aims to support women both on and off-screen by spotlighting women in the film industry. This December, we feature filmmaker Camille Griffin and her first feature-length film, Silent Night (2021).
Although Griffin will be making her box-office debut this month, she has a long 25-year history in the film industry. A graduate of the Bournemouth Film School in the UK and Binger in Amsterdam, Griffin has several degrees in writing and directing. Like many aspiring filmmakers, she watched and learned as a trainee on the camera department for the production of Vol-au-vent in 1996. For the next 13 years, Griffin worked as a Clapper Loader on various projects, including Among Giants (1998), Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace (1999), and The Escapist (2002).
After gaining familiarity with feature films, Griffin shifted her focus to short films. Griffin’s projects in short films highlight her leadership skills and diligence, as she has juggled multiple roles as a director, writer, cinematographer, and producer over her career. A Weekend with Eva (2003) marked Griffin’s first short film production. The filmmaker’s other short film credits include Confused (2003), Say Sorry (2004), Where’s Daddy! (2006), Feeder (2005), and Vincent (2013), which have screened across 20 film festivals around the world.
The dark comedy Silent Night made its debut at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. At the Sitges’ International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, Griffin’s film won Best Screenplay and The Audience Award. Griffin is currently working with Keira Knightly and Netflix for her next project!
Watch Silent Night in theatres or on AMC+ with your family and friends starting from December 3rd and support Camille Griffin! □
