Guided In Grace

By: Tara Blanchard

Do you believe we are spiritual beings having a human experience?

Or is our constitution purely earthbound?

What if the true you is the knowing spirit within you,

the one that is free behind the need to please; to prove,

the one that is completely whole,

the you that is your guiding soul?

What if we are gifted a body in order to learn and lift

up from the emotional, mental, and material world?

Being in it, but not of it.

Choosing our neutrality over our

particular preferences and personality.

Being the observer; not the absorber,

Letting go of control,

Remembering to walk to the

beating heart of our own eternal loving souls.

Guided in grace,

trusting life with unwavering faith,

the evolution of our learning is embraced

through every person and place.

Every face is a mere reflection

of our living connection and current projection.

Where do we choose to place our focus and attention?

Here as a spirit to soar,

We have the choice to explore,

And to see what we look for.

Viewing life as an everyday opportunity

to serve the evolution of our very soul,

Fuels every interaction and activity,

with endless affinity and possibility.

What are we here to learn,

Where are we called to grow,

How are we being invited to expand or forego,

What is a yes, what is a no,

Perhaps we are learning to be one in the flow

To be fully free to say hello, goodbye, and let go

Choosing love over fear,

Keeps us clear to hear.

To hear the Divine breathe that breaths us,

To feel and see the infinite potential

That truly reigns within us.

I ask you today to lift up and out of your everyday narration,

to see and witness the miracle of your very creation.

To turn any stagnation into a new sensation,

To listen, to see, to be, to receive,

The extraordinary beauty you are here to conceive.

Remember the star you are,
