The Chair is the perfect show to binge-watch if you love plaid sweater vests, vintage libraries, and actress Sandra Oh (Grey's Anatomy). The show revolves around Professor Ji-Yoon Kim, the newest - and first female - English department chair at the fictional Pembroke University. Kim quickly realizes that, despite the status of her new role, many hardships await her in this dramedy series.

Only on Netflix, Film: American Murder

Warning: you may need to sleep with the lights on for a few days after watching this true-crime documentary. Directed by Jenny Popplewell, American Murder: The Family Next Door chronicles the true events of the disappearance of the Watts family in 2018… and their gruesome fate. This production is especially eerie because it utilizes real-life evidence and footage obtained from the Colorado police investigation.

Throwback: The Vampire Diaries

Twi-Hards rejoiced at the return of Edward Cullen and other beloved members of the Twilight franchise to their screens this past summer, when Netflix made all four films available for streaming on its platform. However, for those who can’t get enough of the spooky, angsty drama of Twilight will find a new go-to in Netflix’s eight seasons of The Vampire Diaries. Still craving more? The Originals and Legacies, the two spin-off shows with their respective five and two seasons are also available for streaming all month long.

Hidden Gem: Hotel De Luna

Welcome to the beautiful Hotel De Luna, an exclusive beach resort with spacious rooms, a rooftop bar, and lots of mystery.. Here, you will meet the owner (who loves extravagant clothing, expensive cars, and quality champagne) as well as the charming staff, who serve their ghostly clientele with an air of secrecy. This Korean drama follows the hotel’s newest - and human - General Manager, Gu Chan-Sung, who oversees his supernatural staff and provides ghostly guests with quality customer service on their way into the afterlife.
