Life is risky because you cannot get out of it alive. Let that sink in.

Every month, we have the honor of featuring women who have started their own businesses. These women took leaps of faith, believed in themselves, and, in return, changed their reality. Starting a business is just like climbing a mountain. There are steep hills, difficult climates, breathtaking views, and moments of victory. There is a risk at every level, height, and terrane. Without risk, there is no reward.

If you are starting on your business journey, remember that everything that is worthwhile in life doesn't come easy. Love, children, a high-paying career... whatever it may be, it will require sacrifice, effort, and strength. The journey to a rewarding life is never comfortable. It will sometimes require more energy than you have to give. People will question the change in your life. It might feel like you are in it all alone. When your next entrepreneurial challenge arises, please take it as a sign that you are growing! It is nearly impossible to grow in your comfort zone. If the life you want is on the other side of risk, it's time to take the first step. Remember, nothing changes if nothing changes.

We live in a world with endless resources at our disposal; there is no better time to start than now. H3R is one example of taking a risk. We hope that our interviews spark motivation in the hearts of our readers. This motivation says, "take the risk," "believe in yourself," and "be the change you want to see in your life." It starts with you.

I am so excited to introduce this issue. The diverse group of women featured in H3R this month come from all different backgrounds, yet they are united by their missions of making this world a better place.
