There are two main paths that fashion trends follow to develop. Traditionally, trends trickle-down from high fashion runways into adaptable everyday wear for consumers. In more recent years it has become more common to see trends originating at the influencer level on social media, and taking off in viral sensation. Influencers play a key role in determining how long a trend will last and in motivating what consumers look for when shopping.

The athletic dress has taken summer errand-running to a new level in terms of style. Gaining even more popularity this summer is athletic jumpsuits or “shortysuits”. They are proving to be easy to wear on the go and on active days in the sun.
