Blogger & Content Creator, Madcrayy

Maddy, also known as Madcrayy, is a Seattle-based blogger, content creator, and photographer by night and a 9-5 saleswoman by day… and she absolutely loves what she does.

On her blog, she shares tips and tricks for fellow content creators to teach them all she’s learned over the last few years and to help them succeed. She also advocates for self-care, because content creation can be a tough, time-consuming job. It is so important that, as content creators, they advocate for others to take time off, log off, stop scrolling, and take a break when they need it!

What must-have Amazon product are you using that you can't live without?

I finally got the viral heartless curls satin hair wrap… and it absolutely works! I was stunned to see the perfect curls that resulted from the tool, despite how horrible I was at wrapping my hair on the first try! I was excited about how effective it was, especially given that my hair is on the shorter side.

If you had to get rid of one color in your wardrobe, what color would it be and why?

If I had to get rid of one color in my wardrobe, it would be navy blue. For whatever reason, I either go full-neutral with my color palette (black, white, grey), or I go full-rainbow! My wardrobe is full of beautiful, big, colorful dresses, and I absolutely couldn’t bear to get rid of any of them.

Who is your biggest inspiration and how do you try to emulate that person?

My biggest inspiration is my friend Halle. She taught me that it was okay to take care of myself and put myself first. I’m guilty of what Emily & Amelia Nagoski call “human giver syndrome” in their book, “Burnout,” and, for the longest time, I put myself last in everything I did and wound up in a repetitive burnout cycle because of it. These are still habits that I’m still working to shake, but I’m so grateful for friends like Halle who encourage me to love and take care of myself, be comfortable setting boundaries, and take space when I need it. I am so grateful to have her in my life! □
