Tenacity is good. Success is something to aspire to. Great things and great achievements don’t come easily. They see their mom doing it. Integrating motherhood and my work is important to my family. There are, of course, some parts of my kids’ lives that I have to miss, but these times are supplemented by lessons they are learning by watching Mom in this duality.

After 12 years of being self-employed and exploring several paths around fashion and social media, I started creating my now-signature illustrations while in lockdown in 2020. It only took a few months for them to go viral, and the rest is history. It's still unbelievable to say that I am a full time artist, but it feels like my entire life has led up to this point.

I went through a difficult experience for a number of years; when I was a freshman in college I was sexually assaulted. When I reported him to the university (and was found in the right), he sued me to the tune of millions of dollars for defamation.
