“Busy, Yet Pretty” Founder, Jadyn Hailey

Tell us about yourself! How did you get started on social media and your "Busy, Yet Pretty" podcast?

Hello, my name is Jadyn Hailey. I am nineteen years old, from San Diego, California! My life revolves around wellness, positivity, beauty, and, most of all, fashion. I am a full-time content creator on social media and an entrepreneur in founding my podcast, "Busy, Yet Pretty." Since early high school, I have admired the content produced by fashion and lifestyle influencers. When I was roughly sixteen years old, I slowly gained the confidence to post my outfits styling advice on social media. Beginning in 2020, I began to reach my targeted audience and gain a following over Instagram and Tiktok. After establishing myself in fashion and wellness, I decided to further my presence by creating a podcast. I founded "Busy, Yet Pretty" at the beginning of this year, which covers fashion, lifestyle, beauty, self-love, manifestation, productivity, confidence, positive mindset, and more! My main goal is to inspire others through social media.

As a fashion lover, how would you describe your style?

My style is constantly evolving; I have never narrowed it to a specific type. I am consistently interchanging between colorful, neutral, chic, the 90s, 2000s, coquette, 2013 Victoria's Secret Era, etc. My current style has been switching between 2013 Victoria's Secret era/pink-pilates-princess and 90s chic/black and white.

Where do you find fashion inspiration? Do you have any favorite designers, stylists, or fashion influencers?

Most of my fashion inspiration comes from Pinterest, magazines, catwalk books, fellow creators, my boyfriend, and friends! Some of my favorite inspirations include Victoria's Secret models such as Devon Lee Carlson, Bella Hadid, Alexis Ren, and Romee Strijd. I am inspired by my collection of catwalk books: Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Vivienne Westwood, and Anna Sui!

What are some of your dream collaborations you want to manifest for the future?

A few of my dream collaborations that I am manifesting for the future include Dior, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Alo Yoga (currently loving their look), and Victoria's Secret. There are plenty of brands that I aim to work with, but these are my top ones at the moment.

What is your advice for prioritizing self-care as a busy gal?

The key to success is BALANCE. If you are unfamiliar with the 80/20 rule, it's a principle that allows you to accomplish more by doing less. Incorporating rest time and self-care into a busy lifestyle prevents burnout. Create a routine that includes self-care. Whether having a cup of matcha and journaling before work or going through a skin care regimen before bed, you must dedicate time for yourself.

What are some of your goals for the next year?

I am constantly curating more goals that I am looking to achieve tomorrow or even in ten years. Next year, some of the top goals I would like to accomplish include founding (launching) my clothing line, guest speaking at an event or a campus, and traveling more! I feel that these goals are very achievable, and I am looking forward to taking steps to accomplish them! □
