You go above and beyond with everything you do. You are optimistic, reliable, creative, and so much more. I value your opinion because you stand by your convictions and aren't afraid to speak up if something needs to be changed. I respect your high standards in the way you hold to our brand's values and aesthetic. You are a natural-born leader and carry a power in your voice. You will excel with absolutely everything you do in life. Your confidence and passion inspire me to keep showing up every day. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to H3R.

I officially became business partners with Nicole for H3R in July of 2021, from the day I started Sam was apart of the mix. It is hard to express the amount of gratitude and admiration I have grown for Sam over the past year. There are very few people in life and even fewer in work, who can meet such a high standard of excellence in my eyes - Sam is undoubtedly one of these people for me.
As a business owner, many will relate when I say owning a business can be one of the most scary and stressful rollercoaster rides. Yes, there are incredibly beautiful and fulfilling moments, but like anything, there are equally as challenging moments. Through thick and thin, knowing I could rely on Sam to help us manage the sometimes endless amounts of tasks and deadlines Nicole and I have had to meet every day as business owners is a profound experience that I know we are once in a lifetime lucky to have.
And while I’m sure Sam knows we appreciate her, I don’t think she can fully grasp the complete appreciation Nicole and I have in our hearts for her. Not a week goes by where Nicole and I don’t say to each other, “Thank God for Sam”, “What would we do without Sam?” or “I LOVE Sam!”
I want to outline some qualities that I see as very rare in a co-worker and that Sam has consistently portrayed throughout her time with us.
Flexibility: Regardless of the amount of changes we’ve endured as a business, she takes the ups and downs like a champ.
Teamwork: She is always there, down to the wire and sticks through even when things don’t go the way we expected.
The ability to have fun: Sam has a way of making everything feel effortless and easy (even if it’s not) and makes tasks feel fun (even if they aren’t).
Honesty: She is the only person we consistently go-to for genuine and honest feedback.
Creative genius: It’s like a golden touch and can’t really be explained but you just know when something needs a little sprinkle of Sam and suddenly, it all comes together.
Kindness: Sometimes it’s the simple things that can mean so much.
Self-awareness: Sam has such a beautiful way of looking outside of herself, making observations and owning up to her shortcomings. This is a true mark of maturity and high emotional intelligence that I rarely observe in other individuals.
If you are lucky to have one good co-worker in your lifetime I sincerely hope you get to experience someone like Sam.
Sam, thank you for everything. You mean the world to us. □
