Model, Influencer & Law Student, Rahan Alemi

What is your favorite part about Middle Eastern culture?

My favorite part about Middle Eastern culture is its diversity and cultural richness. The cuisine, traditional clothing, languages, and religion are all integral parts of this beautiful community.

How would you describe your style in three words?

If I could describe my style in three words, they would be elegant, classy, and modest.

How do you balance life as a model, influencer, and law student working within the legal field?

My education, profession, and passions are my top priority (after religion and family). In order to be happy, balanced, and fulfilled in all of my activities, I prioritize all of these factors. Being a full-time student and working takes up most of my time; modeling and being an influencer occupy my leisure time and weekend activities. I am working 24/7, which I don't mind because I enjoy being active and productive. It is also important to me to represent Muslims and hijabi women in the media.

What motivated you to kick start a career in law?

I have always wanted to make a greater impact on the world and change people's lives for the better. I wanted to do this within a more professional career than just social media, and the law has always been something that I have been attracted to. If I am able to use the law to benefit people, then I am doing the right thing. It will undoubtedly be difficult, but it will be well worth the effort.

Your Instagram evokes so much confidence, what is your secret to being a confident woman in such a critical world?

There is no secret; it’s just a part of my personality. I am a self-assured woman who is unconcerned with what others think or have to say about me. People will talk about you regardless of what you do, so why not do what makes you happy? It is my ambition to be that confident and positive public figure, especially for the women who lack such an image. □
