Creator of ARMRA, Dr. Sarah Rahal
What does it mean to you to lead a healthy and holistic life?
Before founding ARMRA, I ran a busy pediatric neurology practice here in NYC. I also have a background in functional medicine and environmental health. To me, living a healthy and holistic life starts with understanding the foundational principles of the body. Health is not just freedom from disease, but it’s a vibrancy that permeates your very being and empowers you to show up and aspire to things in your life. Health is not just avoiding a cold, it’s eating clean, nutrient-dense food, it’s movement, it’s time in nature with your feet on the dirt, it’s sunshine, it’s friendship and belonging, it is purpose.
Chronic symptoms that pop up - like bloating or mental fog or weight gain or allergies - are not just nuisances to squash; rather, they are the clues your body uses to communicate with you that something at root is amiss. They are things to get curious about. At ARMRA, our first product, “Immune Revival,” is our pure proprietary colostrum concentrate that is focused on immune health. It addresses a foundational pathway in the body, strengthens the immune barriers against harmful particles from the environment, and it translates to meaningful improvements in the body holistically: across gut health, brain health, metabolism, and even skin health and aging. A holistic approach is understanding the synergy between the body and its environment.
Was there a specific moment in your life that triggered your health and wellness journey?
In my medical practice, I saw the same things that I was reading in the literature: that chronic diseases have exploded over the past few decades. Our genes didn’t suddenly mutate; all these health issues are being driven by an environment that has rapidly changed over the past few decades with unprecedented pollutants in the air that we breathe, pesticides and anti-nutrient ingredients in our food system, and unregulated and unsafe chemicals in our body and home-care products. They drive inflammation, resulting in a surge of autoimmune problems, allergies, digestive complaints, mental fog, bloating, sleep problems, and skin issues. At the same time, I was suffering through my own health challenges, with even my smartest medical colleagues only able to offer me band-aid options to help. While researching colostrum, I discovered a natural, whole food that was an exclusive source of many peptides, antibodies, growth factors, and bioactive molecules that had the power to strengthen the body’s defense against these modern exposures and restore foundational health. Over 5,000 research publications attested to its health benefits. It made me wonder, why didn’t everybody know about it already?
Do you have any unreleased products that you are especially excited about, if so, what are they?
Currently, our focus is on our hero product, “ARMRA Colostrum Immune Revival,” and educating customers on how our proprietary colostrum concentrate has the potential to meaningfully transform their health. It is an unrivaled superfood, yet so few people know about it! We also have some exciting new product launches on the horizon, that I can't announce just yet. I will say that we intend to hone and amplify some of the most compelling benefits ARMRA has already been able to achieve for our customers across gut health, fitness performance, and mental clarity.
If you could give ARMRA a slogan, what would that slogan be and why?
"You Are What You Eat, Drink, Think, Breathe, Absorb—And Don't Eliminate."
The modern environment has evolved rapidly and evolution has not yet had time to catch up with it. Humans are essentially maladapted to thrive under our current circumstances, leading us to be impacted by everything in our environment, from the air that we breathe to the furniture we put in our homes. We do the best we can to mitigate the things in our control, but exposure is unavoidable. We see the clear impact of this exposure on our health, and, particularly, the health of our children. Today, 54% of kids have a chronic disease diagnosis. That number was 1.6% just a few decades ago.
