H3R’s Exclusive Interview With Roxie

We absolutely love your content, journal, and community you have built with @theheadplan. How did you get started? Tell us more about your story!

Thank you so much! Basically, I really struggled in my 20s. I had no job, no purpose, no sense of self-worth, and I battled with addiction for nearly a decade. When I discovered the concept of manifestation, my whole world changed rapidly and magnificently. I immersed myself in self-development, and, today, I live and breathe the practices that I teach. I started organically, with a weekly Instagram story that I called “Agony Aunt Sundays.” From there, my career really began. I did a coaching and NLP course (euro-linguistic programming) and began working with one-on-one clients.

Later, I started hosting workshops and webinars on self-love, manifesting, relationships, and careers. Last year, I created “The Journal with The Head Plan,” a 12-week journalling program for self-love and empowerment. It is a journal like no other; it’s like having a coach in your hand. I am so proud of it and so proud to work with The Head Plan... the founders, Denise & Ciaran, are two of the most inspiring people I know!

How do you address skeptics? What is one thing that gives you ultimate confidence in the power of manifestation?

To be honest, I am not here to convince anyone to believe anything that they are not ready for. I think that the best thing I can do is to lead by example, to teach my seven steps of manifesting to as many people as I can, and, then, allow those people to become living examples of manifestation. I definitely see myself as living example of manifestation in action - my life is unrecognizable from what it was just three years ago - and I truly have manifested everything that I have achieved, including my book, “MANIFEST,” becoming an instant Sunday Times bestseller (which I am still on cloud nine about)!

What do you think the top five components to healing are? What advice would you give someone interested in starting their own healing journey?

Good question! I think:

  1. Nutrition & Exercise - this should never be underestimated. 90% of our serotonin is produced in our gut, so what we eat and how we treat our body truly matters!

  2. Self-Awareness - we can’t begin to change or heal until we begin to look inwards at our triggers, what habits no longer serve us, and how past trauma continues to impact our lives.

  3. Incorporating Self-Love Rituals - incorporating self-love habits into your day is key to healing. Small changes - whether journaling, meditation, using mantras, or having candlelit baths - all help!

  4. Breath Work - our breath is our most powerful healing tool and helps in all types of healing: energetic, physical and emotional.

  5. Commitment - I think that being committed to healing is key to driving you forwards.

If you were to have dinner with anyone in history, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Oprah, because... OPRAH!

How do you define success?

Success is being content and able to find joy in life's simple pleasures whilst also feeling a sense of purpose and belonging in the world.

What are your dream collaborations or projects for 2022?

I am a huge Jay Shetty fan. He was the first person that I saw make the process of self-development accessible to a younger audience, and I love his approach to inner healing. So, I would LOVE the opportunity to speak to him about manifesting!
