Tell us about yourself. What were your early inspirations that set you off on your journey?

I’m a single mom to nine-year-old twin boys. I began my entrepreneurial career in technology and have built a few companies. My first company was a total failure. My second was extremely successful, essentially creating the LA technology ecosystem. It was called Coloft, and I was dubbed the "Godmother of Silicon Beach." However, I lost this company in my divorce and had to start over, this time as a single mom. It was terrifying. I lost my self-identity; I felt completely naked and alone in the universe and was literally a zombie in my bed. I became addicted to prescription medication and tried my best to numb my feelings. It was a very dark time. At some point, I realized that I had to stop treating myself as a victim. As painful as this time was, I had to get back up. I began to take transformational seminars and courses, even hiring a coach. I worked overtime on healing myself from the inside; I fell in love with the process. I became empowered. I was no longer afraid of my power. I transformed from a scared little girl to a loud, empowered woman. I had finally met my true Self, and she was glorious. I decided that this was my life's calling; I needed to share this with all women. So I began coaching. I got my degree in Spiritual Psychology and my Doctorate in Spiritual Studies. I began incorporating intuitive coaching into my work, resulting in a really powerful and unique blend of transformational coaching and intuitive coaching. Now I help women in embodying their Divine Feminine; their most empowered Self. This is exactly what I’m meant to do.

Tell us about Cam Kashani. What are you most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others?

There are a few moving parts to what I do. As a Coach and Intuitive Guide, I work one-on-one with women who have experienced trauma and help them to heal, remove obstacles, release self-doubt, become empowered, and fall in love with themselves. I help them to embody their Divine Feminine selves. At the same time, I’m building a beautiful community of women; a safe space to uplift one another, empower one another, and feel supported on our respective journeys towards self-love. Cam Kashani hosts monthly events both online and in-person. I am very proud of the community that I am building. It is very intentional and very healing. What have you enjoyed most about starting your own company?

This is my fourth company, yet every time, I have had a different journey in starting my businesses and and every time I learn new lessons. I really enjoy this time because I am fully on my own. In the past, I have always had partners; while that has its own benefits, doing this alone has been such a beautiful - albeit difficult at times - journey. I have truly learned so much about myself. That is priceless.

We love your podcast, The Cam Kashani Show! For our readers who may be unfamiliar, can you tell us about your purpose and vision for this show?

Thank you! The Cam Kashani Show is driven to redefine beauty, body and sense of self. The purpose and vision of this show is to help everyone in feeling beautiful, powerful, and worthy. To allow you to feel more empowered and self-aware, and, as result, to love yourself at an unwavering, unconditional, and unapologetic level. In this podcast, I break down societal conditioning and programming (i.e. lies) and help you in building up your truth about yourself. If you want to learn how to love yourself and create an empowered mindset that will help you thrive in all aspects of life, this is the show for you. I speak vulnerably authentically, and truthfully. This is in order to inspire you and elevate in becoming the best version of yourself. I also interview people with transformational, inspiring stories.

What are the three most important lessons you have learned building your brand?

  • Self love is the key to everything... even building a company!

  • Consistency and patience are key. There are no overnight successes.

  • This is a long game, so be sure to invest in yourself and avoid burnout.

  • As a woman, being in the feminine flow is the most powerful way to build a successful company. We are conditioned to be masculine and force things into existence. That doesn’t work. Surrender to your feminine and allow your creations to come forward.
