What are some of your biggest challenges as an entrepreneur?
We all saw challenges with Covid-19, especially in careers related to hospitality or events. However, I have also seen a plethora of new businesses, including mine, pop up during the pandemic. With the world’s ‘re-opening', if you will, business is booming. Clients are increasingly interested in PR, Marketing, Business Development, Event Production, and more. My main challenge now is hiring a team and sourcing talent in order to grow.
How have you successfully served such a diverse range of needs for companies?
While my clients vary in terms of industry, the end consumer is the same. Luxury is a broad term that incorporates fashion, food, wine, transportation, beauty, wellness, hospitality, art, design, and more. The typical consumer appreciates these and integrates them into their lifestyle. As a result, I form partnerships between the clients within my portfolio. For instance, I will connect designers to galleries or brands to retailers. Both established and emerging brands need the complete package when launching, including strategy, public relations, digital marketing, social media, website design, strategic partnerships, special events, etc. It is important to have the experience and ability to offer a diverse range of services to companies in this day and age.
What kind of growth would you like to see for your company in the next few years?
That is a great question. In all honesty, I did not expect the growth we had over the last two years, especially throughout the pandemic. I am in the process of signing larger, global clients and building a team in order to scale accordingly. I would eventually like to launch my own brand or hospitality project and perhaps even sell the company in the future.
Who or what is a big inspiration to you?
I am endlessly inspired. I have a large appetite for culture and am extremely curious by nature. I am also quite lucky to learn from my clients and projects constantly. Artists, Architects, Chefs, and Designers always have intriguing points of view. My job is to understand their inspiration and then relay their message to promote publicly. I often attend exhibitions, galleries, museums, and art and design fairs. However, my main inspiration comes from other people and cultures.
What is something you want your customers to know before they decide to work with you?
I am also deciding to work with them! I am careful to only work with individuals and companies that I admire, respect, and genuinely like. I interact directly with each of my clients daily, and I am fortunate to work with close friends and acquaintances and forge new relationships through work.
How would you describe your aesthetic?
It depends on the context. Overall, I lean towards classicism in terms of style (art, fashion, design). My favorite periods are Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and mid-century Modern. I especially enjoy Brazilian Modernist architecture. After the darkness of the last two years, I have a new appreciation for touches of whimsy. Jane Austen’s father once described her short stories as “effusions of fancy by a very young girl in a style entirely new.” I have always loved this description of a personal aesthetic. □

Some of the most impactful events on my confidence (in a weirdly great way) are when things go wrong. My mom has always said that “The only way out is through.” This piece of wisdom then encourages me to put my head right in the muck of what is going on—I then am able to rise above and come out the other side a bit wiser and a lot more confident, having added that piece of advice to my tool kit for life.
Crochet fashion is so unique, complimenting, and gorgeous. Throw in some rave inspiration and you can create some magical, trippy, sexy creations! Knowing that my idea of confident fashion resonates with so many people means so much! If you ever see me at a show, I’ll be wearing something handmade, probably with some ears on them.

You know that nudge inside your stomach? The push-and-pull that arises when you least expect it? That gut decision telling you what to do in moments of indecision and fear. That’s called the wonderful phenomenon of our intuition at work. How does anyone—believers, skeptics, doctors, and scientists—begin to explain it? You can’t. It’s just there. Some call it our consciousness at work. Whatever that feeling is, it’s a beautiful gift from the Universe that helps heal and guide us.

Burnout may just be our greatest gift, our saving grace. It reveals a lack of balance and health, powerful enough to awaken us from the stupor and routine of our days, and motivate us to change for the better. Burnout also reveals a lack of balance and health, helping us realize we are not walking in the most powerful, beautiful, or generous versions of ourselves.
Despite the fact that we’ve been conditioned to extend forgiveness from a very early age, it’s not something that comes naturally to the human mind. It’s a skill that we have to actively practice. This is why forgiveness is easier for older, more experienced, and wiser minds.

Psychedelic drugs like ayahuasca, peyote, and mushrooms have long been recognized as the drugs that defined America in the 1960s (most notably, the Woodstock Festival). Psychedelics have been around much longer than the past 50 years in fact; their history dates as early as the late 1400s and 1500s throughout many different cultures and religions. With increasing research on their effects, these drugs are no longer only utilized for recreational use but have expanded to help treat mental health disorders like anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Staying in a toxic relationship with both my partner and myself, getting constant panic and anxiety attacks, and going through depression, insomnia, and eating disorders were normal Tuesdays for me. The saddest part of this cycle was that I refused to see the obvious: I refused to acknowledge that the relationship I had brought me more harm than good. The fear of losing the person I thought I loved made me lose myself in the process too.

Like the reliably and constantly shifting lunar phases, menstruating bodies experience subtle changes on a daily basis, resulting in significant transformations when perceived across the time span of 28 days. Within this timeframe, we experience phases of fullness - a desire to experience all that life has to offer - as well as phases that require rejuvenation and building ourselves back up to our full vibrance.
