Until a year ago, jewelry-making was predominately a hobby that I dabbled in while growing up. As I became increasingly passionate about fashion, jewelry became the most sentimental and meaningful accessory to me.
My personal experiences play a very large role in my work as an artist. Wherever I am, I enjoy looking at everything as a painting and how would I capture it best. As an abstract painter, I look at things as shapes interacting with one another, the contrast of textures, and the colors that play within that particular image.
What do you think makes the three of you an excellent team? Our skills and interests lie in different areas, and I think that this has led to a really great working relationship. We collectively weigh in on many decisions, but ultimately our individual contributions complement each other. - Elaine Taylor
I lacked self-confidence as a kid when I had skin issues. I used to draw freckles on my acne. I never wanted to take pictures. You have to remember that everything on social media is curated - there is a lot to a picture - and you can't judge anyone through social media because people are showing the “highlight reels” of their lives.

I opened Love + Lavender as a senior in high school at seventeen years old. Growing up, I always knew that I would work for myself one day. I have always been a fashionista, creative, and very outgoing.
