Crucible Of Pain: Living With Chronic Pain
Few things can wear us down like pain. Pain gets our attention in ways other things can’t - the blaring alarm that deep down, something is not right. Pain is a warning system alerting us to the presence of inflammation, of woundedness, of a system out whack, in need of recalibration. It’s easy to associate chronic pain with older people, but we often overlook the many young men and women, even children, who face this struggle daily.
Homecoming: Journeying Home to Yourself
There’s simply no place like home. What if the biggest component of finding, building, and making a home is not so much about the building itself, but with the people living within? Coming home says more about us and the person we became while abroad than it says about the place we call home.
The Gift of Neurodivergence in Entrepreneurs
“Neurodiversity means to be part of the diversity of humanity as a whole. It means different, not flawed – and everyone is different. That’s something I could have done with knowing as I grew up”, says Florence Welch, the sextuple platinum-certified lead singer of Florence + the Machine—a band that has achieved global success.
The Art Of Home
I’m currently on a three-week road trip across the Northwestern states, stopping along the way to visit family and friends as I go. I’m the sort of person who enjoys traveling, but also appreciates having a home to return to after the long journey. There’s something special about having a space to kick off your shoes and put your feet up in comfort.
Here Now
I am here now. Where the bluest thing is the sky and the trees are the greenest green I’ve ever seen. I am continually changed by this new place and all it entails.
Intimacy And Connection
We came from the earth, bathed in intimacy & connection from the very beginning. Are these not our not our deepest desires? Is Divinity not simply intimacy & connection incarnate?
Soul Directed, Light Projected, Beauty Reflected
As an embodied soul, Tara writes to listen and connect to the part of us that is one with the Divine, home and always whole. Her words and rhymes remind us we are above what the world defines - free from any hold, beyond any worldly mold, we are beating hearts of light and gold.
Guided In Grace
Do you believe we are spiritual beings having a human experience? Or is our constitution purely earthbound?
Seeking Spring
Magical…how she describes the world, her friends, the places she goes. Magical…how she looks in all those places.
Author of the Skyhunter Series, Marie Lu
What inspired you to become a writer? I think I always dreamed of working in something creative, so when I first started writing, it was just that—a dream to do something I love. Then it became a desire to emulate some of my earliest favorite authors.
The Woman Behind Hush & Be Bold, Jenna Hushka
Most of my writing focuses on my past experiences, my everyday thoughts, and observations I’ve made throughout my days. I’ve always found peace when my fingers hit the keyboard.
Beauty Writer & Founder Of Ellis Brooklyn, Bee Shapiro
When Bee became pregnant with her first child, she became concerned with cleaning up her products, eliminating those with questionable ingredients. Shapiro realized that while there were options for makeup and skin care, she saw a gap when it came to clean and safe fragrances.
Bestselling Author Ruby Dhal
My name is Ruby Dhal and I am a bestselling author, content creator, and performer. I write and create content about love, heartbreak, moving on, letting go, healing, mental health, and more to a readership of over half a million.
When Seasons Change
When Seasons Change It creeps up on you. Silent & steady, unnoticed until it transforms into something bright & beautiful; beckoning you to relish in the shift. I have always loved the changing of the seasons. Winter relents to blushing Spring, who coyly insists that life will bloom once again. Summer wrestles Spring into submission with his heatwaves.
Victoria Aveyard, Author Of The Red Queen Series
What inspired you to become a writer? I've been a storyteller since very early childhood, whether it be with dolls or action figures or my own friends in the backyard. My first stories were written with crayon, and I've been writing creatively since I knew how to write.
Through The Eyes Of Taylor Pircey
She is the heartbeat of every heat wave; the minstrel of each muggy afternoon. There's nothing quite like water, which fuels, cools, renews, and inspires us; a bright patch of blues and greens providing refuge from the stifling warmth of the summer sun.
