August 2022 Covergirl: Selling Sunset Star & Luxury Realtor, Maya Vander
Maya Vander began her career in the public eye in 2019 with the premiere of the reality show Selling Sunset. A quick fan favorite, Maya has been known for her kind, non-confrontational, and family-centered personality throughout the show’s five seasons. Fans watched Maya grow as a real estate agent, journey through pregnancy, and navigate becoming a mother.
One Less Sad Party Girl & What It Means To Be Sober Conscious
The normalization of binge drinking in women (having four or more drinks in one sitting) is everywhere in popular culture. From bottomless brunches with the girls and “rosé all day” to Wine Wednesdays and “Mommy’s special juice,” binge drinking is a culturally acceptable method of coping through life's highs and lows.
Choosing Radical Contentedness
I had an epiphany today.
I’ve been thinking about the consequences of always chasing the future and pursuing goals. It’s easier for me to keep pushing forward than to rest, because the coping mechanism for the emotional minefield within me has been staying busy; it feels dramatically easier for me to put my energy into working hard and being productive than it does for me to let go and rest. In my mind, busy = safe, at least until I burn out.
An Exclusive Interview With Marissa Streit CEO Of PragerU & Host Of CEO Talks
Tenacity is good. Success is something to aspire to. Great things and great achievements don’t come easily. They see their mom doing it. Integrating motherhood and my work is important to my family. There are, of course, some parts of my kids’ lives that I have to miss, but these times are supplemented by lessons they are learning by watching Mom in this duality.

Social Media Guru & Founder Of Managed By Skye, Skyelar Garcia
My business started when I was 20 years old working as a receptionist at a spa and was bored just working 20 hours a week doing the same thing over and over again. Helping Businesses Work Smarter Not Harder, Kate Rosenow
Who/what inspired you to start Work Well with Kate? This might sound odd, but a stressed-out version of myself. I started my first business in 2014 and quickly became overwhelmed and burnt out because of all the hats I realized I had to wear. I saw a need to change my business for my overall health and wellbeing and when I did, I became addicted to helping others build more sustainable and profitable businesses.
Alissa Boyer’s Self-Built Career Of Mentoring Empaths
Because it's deeply personal for me. I mentor highly sensitive people (HSPs) and empaths. These are the deep-feelers; the caretakers; the ones who wear their hearts on their sleeves. They tend to be the kindest, most gentle souls AND many of them grew up believing that the way they were is wrong.
Lawyer Turned Financial Educator, Delyanne Barros
Three years of law school, $150,000 in student loans, and 14 years of experience. As an immigrant and WOC this was difficult because I knew how much of a sacrifice it was to achieve what I did and how rare it is in our community. However, I realized that I am not my profession.
